Counselling NPO Of The Year
We are thrilled to win the Counselling NPO of the Year award for a second consecutive year from the Yorkshire & North England Prestige Awards. Our youth nights and GCSE Revision Club provide safe spaces and support for young people. We couldn’t do what we do without our amazing volunteers. Thank you to everyone that has helped us so far!
Public sculpture 'Ribbons' launched to champion women of Leeds
Emma, Team Daniel CEO, was recently recognised as one of nearly 400 inspiration women across Leeds who are being celebrated with a new sculpture in the heart of the city’s cultural quarter.
“Yesterday I was tagged in a post, I knew nothing about it until I got tagged that people nominated me and the work Team Daniel do.
Nearly 400 inspirational Leeds women, voted by members of the public are being celebrated with a new sculpture in the heart of the city’s cultural quarter and I was one of them!
I cannot believe that I got voted. When I set out to do Team Daniel I wanted to help young kids not be a statistic like Daniel and for a family not to go through what I do, it’s hard, it’s a big struggle and you have to try and carry on as best you can and I focus on this charity as it means the absolute world to me.
I wouldn’t say I was an inspiration, I’m just a mum trying to make a difference even if it’s for only one child.
Without the Trustees, the volunteers and the young people that help, Team Daniel wouldn’t be where it is today. Although a small charity, we are making a difference.

We are delighted to have once again been nominated for a Leeds Compassionate City Award. It's amazing that our work in the community to help improve children's mental wellbeing continues to be recognised. Massive congratulations to the worthy winners Battle Scars for the amazing work they do and who we have had the pleasure of working alongside.

Leeds Compassionate City Awards 2018
In 2018 TeamDaniel was thrilled to win the Health and Wellbeing Award at the Leeds Compassionate City Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate the work of the city’s many unsung heroes. The awards celebrate the positive and compassionate work that individuals, community groups and organisations do every day to make their local communities and wider city a great place to live, work and visit. TeamDaniel was also nominated in 2019 for the Community Organisation or Charity of the Year Award.
Ison Harrison Big 40 Charity 2018
In 2018, TeamDaniel was thrilled to be one of the 40 charities selected as part of the Ison Harrison Solicitors Big 40 campaign celebrating their 40-year existence. The campaign’s objective was to find 40 local charities or initiatives that they could support and make a donation to. The campaign was a huge success with 40 charities selected from over 600 nominations. Receiving over 100 nominations, Team Daniel was the most nominated charity for #TheBig40 campaign. TeamDaniel received a £250 cheque and celebration pack.
